About my Massage approach:
My massage work is born out of a passion for healing and a desire to
help people. I am client focused, bringing my creative spirit and intuition
to each session, making each session a unique experience.
There are several aspects that drew me towards bodywork. The most
obvious is touch -- connectedness with client, facilitating change,
receiving immediate feedback, working with another in a meaningful way
that provides positive change in another's life. I have a strong desire to
make a positive difference with each client.

I trained at Miller-Motte College in Wilmington, North Carolina and Florida College of Natural Health.
discovery I began my path as a massage practitioner in 2004. Since then I have experienced the ultimate in
massage as luxurious escape and daily necessity for wellness and recovery. My style is influenced by
principles of Ayurveda and the understanding that the mind and emotions are profoundly sensitive to touch.
My view is that each session must be tailored to your long term goals, and the most effective route to that
goal in the moment. We are beings in constant change and so healing must be fluid with various techniques
available. This does not need to be complicated or strange, it is a an art of pulling together the right
elements for each person.

With the healing power of touch,
I bring self-awareness to my clients,
empowering them to improve their daily life.
I passionately believe in the importance of taking time out of our busy lives to
nurture our own body and soul. Massage can be a great tool in the process of
improving one’s quality of life. With every massage, I believe change happens
what my client’s tissue is saying and asking for. I encompass the whole body in
every massage and listen to where my client’s tissue leads me. I work very
specifically and sometimes very intensely, but never lose sight of my client as a
whole. Because of this I pride myself in nurturing change. I look forward to
beginning this journey with you!

My approach to massage is to share my knowledge on how the body works with my clients and
engage them in the process of healing. My intent through massage is to assist my clients in finding a
place of true relief and relaxation; to take my client on a journey through their body teaching them
along the way how to slow down, breathe, and take it all in. I love to share my professional experience
and services with clients that are looking to enhance their body awareness and gain knowledge on
how to use their bodies in an effective and beneficial way. I believe that massage can be a very
powerful tool that clients can use to heal their bodies and/or help prevent dysfunction.
I have worked with a wide range of clients including pregnant women, elderly, patients suffering from
terminal diseases, clients seeking treatment massage due to injury, and healthy clients simply wishing
to relax and connect with their body through massage. I believe that working together as a team is
the most favorable approach for both me and my client to achieve the results we have agreed on.

My massage practice focus is to support you in your well-being, whether that is through treatment
of a particular injury, pain reduction or management, or enhancing general wellness and
relaxation. As an avid kayaker, I was first drawn to massage as a profession when I saw friends
struggling with shoulder injuries and long rehabilitation processes. I love providing massage that
balances treatment aspects with nurturing and relaxation as well. Our massage sessions will always
focus on your needs; I look forward to helping you achieve your wellness goals through massage!

My personal goal for every massage that I give is that my client leaves feeling
happier and healthier then when they first came in. It is important to me that
every one of my clients feels comfortable and safe during their massage.
The work that I do is client centered and focused towards meeting the goals
that we have set together. As a massage therapist it is crucial that my clients
trust me to listen to their needs and help them to the very best of my abilities.
I understand that every client is unique and with great communication and
patience, you will be able to get the most out of your massage.

I believe that regular massage is essential in any health regiment. As a person who enjoys being active, I want to keep my body feeling
great. The relaxing benefits and stress reduction massage bring, help the mind and body feel well and perform their best.
I like to give my clients options, such as Reflexology and hydrotherapy, to create massage sessions that feel good and work for their
specific needs. Working together, we can develop a session that fits you.
Most of us leave stress or minor aches and pains until they manifest into symptoms we can’t ignore. The body is great at adapting, but
minor pain left untreated can lead to greater health problems down the road. Getting body work done periodically is a proactive
approach to your health, and helps to create conditions where the body can naturally heal itself!
Whether it is to treat an injury or to reduce stress, I invite you to come in for regular bodywork and help your mind and body reach their
maximum potential!

I graduated in Anchorage Alaska from the Alaska Learning Institute in 2008. Since graduating, I have honed
my massages to meet the unique needs of each individual through adapting myofascial release, swedish,
sports, and deep tissue techniques to each session. I enjoy being a part of your day where you get to slow
down, breathe, relax in a quiet space and regain a sense of well being through my massage.
I enjoy biking, hiking, ice hockey, kayaking, traveling, and just about anything that provides a new
adventure. Massage for me has helped with sports-related issues, including fatigued muscles, strains, sprains,
and injuries. It reduces the recovery time and gets you back on your feet!
